Section 48 Inspection

Approximately every four years, the Catholic Church inspects its schools to ensure that they are living out their vision statements faithfully.  In 2017, we were judged outstanding in all the categories, which include the religious life of the school, the RE department as well as core aspects of our community.

We are particularly pleased that the team recognised some of the things of which we are most proud:

  • the rich tradition we have inherited from the La Sainte Union order
  • the diversity that we embrace – we are united by what we share
  • the preparation we give right up to the age of 18 to develop aspirational young women
  • the care that all members of the community – adult or student – have for each other
  • the support offered to the most vulnerable members of our community
  • the joy and happiness among our girls, Sixth Form boys and staff
