Before ordering a Scholar’s Pass, please check prices with the travel company directly as you may find that buying a monthly or weekly U16 ticket directly through them is a cheaper option.

Please note that passes are non-refundable and a charge will be made for replacements if they are lost or damaged.


Bluestar and Unilink Scholar’s Bus Pass

These are termly smartcards, valid for travel within the relevant ticket zone for 7 days a week. They are valid for the whole term, including half term holidays, but not for the three main school holidays. Costs can be found on the link below.

These tickets are valid for unlimited travel for either 5 days (Monday to Friday only) or for 7 days depending on the ticket purchased. These passes are only valid during school term time.

Support with Travel Costs

Some families may be eligible for support with travel costs through the local authority. Please follow the links below

6th form students who live more than 5 miles from St Anne’s can apply for support through the school finance office.

How to order and pay for your Scholar’s Bus or Train Pass

  • Order forms will be sent out termly giving details of the payment deadline e.g. Autumn Term deadline in July, Spring Term deadline in November and Summer Term deadline in March. Alternatively you can download the form below.
  • Complete the order form and return to the finance office along with the necessary payment.
  • The preferred method of payment is via, please remember to add £3 to the ticket price to cover administration costs.
  • Tickets will be available for collection from the admin office 2 weeks after the deadline as long as the payment has been received.
  • The passes are non-refundable and a charge will be made for replacement passes if they are lost or damaged.
