Parent Update 8th April 2022

8th April 2022

Dear Parents,

For my twelfth and final update of the Spring term, I want to thank you for your unwavering support of the school over the last term.

The final week of our Lenten activities have been excellent, with over £1000 raised for charity. We are looking forward to our talent show this lunchtime.

It was lovely to have Father Johnpromise join us this week for confession, and our Easter Concert was a delight.

Our final day has consisted of a wonderful Passiontide liturgy for the whole school and year group celebrations including for our sixth form who have been learning in their assembly about the importance of memory retrieval in outcomes this morning. Our sixth form applications are higher than ever for September, and we are delighted that so many want to stay with us for sixth form, and indeed join us from other schools in the region. We will always ensure that our sixth form doesn’t grow too large as we know that students and families want the smallest class sizes possible providing unprecedented support and challenge, and it is a great community to join for the next stage of education beyond year 11. Find out more about our sixth form our dedicated sixth form website.
