Parent Update: 10th December 2020

10th December 2020

Dear Parents

Christmas-themed home clothes day – Thursday 17th December 2020 (early closure)

The last day of term (Thursday 17th December) will be a Christmas themed home clothes day so dress codes are relaxed on this day and all members of the school community are invited to wear:

  •          A Christmas jumper if you have one, or if not, a bright coloured top
  •          Jeans or other casual trousers or an appropriate length skirt
  •          Sensible footwear for school (no sandals, flip flops or high heels)
  •          A festive face mask instead of your normal ones, if you have one

Families who are able will be able to make a suggested donation of £1 per student via https://www.scopay.com/st-annes with the proceeds going to the local charity Honeypot provide opportunities for children who are young carers to take a break from caring for others and enjoy being children.

We still need to consider health and safety, so please leave tree decorations on the tree and keep your dangly earrings at home as normal Covid-safety (including the wearing of face masks), jewellery, nail varnish and make up rules will apply.

I would also like to remind you that the final day of the term is always an early closure and this term will be no different. School will be finishing at 12:15. We have informed our dedicated bus service, the BlueStar 517, of this change.

We are all looking forward to a truly celebratory day on Thursday 17th December with our Christmas and Celebration Assemblies bringing this term to a close on a high note, and would like to take this opportunity to wish you all peace and joy this Christmas.

Yours sincerely,

Holly Leat
