Parent COVID Update 29th November 2021

29th November 2021

Dear Parents,

As you will have heard on the news, the expectations in schools regarding COVID are changing:

At St Anne’s: From tomorrow, all pupils, and students in sixth form, are expected to bring in and wear face coverings in communal areas, and strongly encouraged to wear them in lessons if they wish. Teachers can request them for lessons if they feel it is necessary. We will continue to encourage the use of hand sanitiser and ensure adequate ventilation.

To help us, please do the following:

  • Ensure your child has a face covering for school.
  • Ensure your child continues to bring in a saliva test twice a week (Monday and Thursday mornings)

Case numbers at school are very low at the moment, and we intend to keep them that way in the lead up to the Christmas holidays. Every step we take helps reduce the impact of the pandemic on learning and your support, as ever, is very much appreciated.

All the best
