2020-2021 for entry to Year 7 in September 2020 (Pupils currently in Year 6)

We encourage all parents to ensure that they make an online application via their local authority and put their preferred school as first choice. Additionally, all applicants should fill in a SIF and return it to the school with their evidence by the 31st October. Please do read the SIF carefully and only supply the information requested. We have in the past been sent lovely certificates for wonderful things but these cannot form part of the admission process.

For the past three years, we have been able to offer places to girls in either category 11 or 12 on the admissions policy for that year. We have pupils who come from a wide range of primary schools and from different areas of the city and beyond. For pupils who are unsuccessful in obtaining a place, we hold a waiting list and this is regularly reviewed and places are offered as places become available; typically due to pupils moving overseas or out of the area.

To find out more about our musical aptitude test please click hereWe have been made aware that some families did not receive the information about the Musical Aptitude tests last summer, so we have arranged for an additional test on Thursday 26th September at 3.45pm. Please contact Mrs Fiona Langford at the school to arrange a place for your daughter by 19th September. Results of the tests for all students will be made available in early October in plenty of time for you to decide whether to apply for a place under the Musical Aptitude category.
