You will have to choose and complete a range of units, be organised, take some assessments that we will set and mark, and keep a portfolio of your assignments. o Creating Systems to Manage Information (assessed externally through a set task) - Learners study the design, creation, testing and evaluation of a relational database system to manage information.
o Using Social Media in Business (assessed internally through set tasks) - Learners explore how businesses use social media to promote their products and services. Learners also implement social media activities in a business to meet requirements.
Year 2: BTEC Extended Certificate:
o Information Technology and Systems (assessed externally through an exam)
o Data Modelling OR Unit 6: Website Development (assessed internally through a set task)
